Warsaw Stock Exchange

Warsaw Stock Exchange (WSE), or Giełda Papierów Wartościowych w Warszawie (GPW) in Polish, is still an independent stock exchange as it is not a member of a group of stock exchanges.

Warsaw Stock Exchange offers three indices based on size of the companies (large-cap, mid-cap, small-cap) and several indices per sector (like construction, real estate, telecommunications). The most important indices are WIG20 for large-cap companies and mWIG40 for mid-cap companies. Use the following links to see:

Unfortunately WSE does offer little information on their website. You will not find financial reports and company backgrounds, but it does supply news through the website WSEInfoSpace.

Financial reports can be found on the company websites. Links to english versions of financial reports have been collected on the equities-page of this website. About 85% of companies in the WIG20 index and about 60% of companies in the mWIG40 index have english versions of financial reports available.

Online stock trading of Polish stocks is possible through several banks and brokers. Use the following link to see the list of online stock traders, who have an english version available of their online stock trading platform.
